Ardex P4 Primer

ARDEX P4 Primer is a ready mixed, rapid drying, solvent free primer, that dries in as little as 30 minutes and produces a textured surface ‘grip’.

ARDEX P4 Primer can be used on internal and external walls, ceilings and floors. The consistency of ARDEX P4 Primer has been optimised so that dripping and splashes are virtually eliminated.

For use prior to the installation of ARDEX tile adhesives and floor-levelling compounds. 

ARDEX P4 Primer produces a textured grip which facilitates tile on tile application, eliminating the risk of adhesives slipping when being applied to smooth surfaces. It is the ideal primer for use in areas which may become damp or wet such as kitchens bathrooms and porches, etc.

Ardex P4 Primer is suitable for use on substrates such as:
• Concrete
• Cement and lime renders
• Sand/cement screeds
• Ceramic Tiles and slabs
• Terrazzo
• Dispersion based paints
• Traces of non-water soluble, flooring adhesives
• Dry screeds
• Levelling and smoothing compounds
